First Incident:
It started in the eighth century with Sultan Oghuz Khan who had 6 sons and each of his sons had 4 sons giving him 24 grand sons.

One of his grand sons is Yuregir the First (we are descendants from him). Sultan Oghuz Khan decided to give each of his grand sons a bird to be their symbol and their descendants after them. He chose the Kestrel Falcon for Yuregir the first.
بدأت العلاقة بالجد يوريغير الأول (جدنا الكبير من تلك الحقبة) في القرن الثامن حين كان يوريغير واحد من احفاد السلطان أوغوز خان ال٢٤ فأعطى السلطان أوغوز لكل حفيد طيراً يكون رمزاً له ولزريته وكان من حظ يوريغير ان يحصل على رمز صقر العوسق.

ثم بعد حوالي ٦٠٠ سنة بأمر من الله عز وجل يلعب صقر العوسق دوراً مهما في تاريخ العائلة أدى الى هزيمة مملكة الأرمن على سيف الأمير إبراهيم الشهير بإبن رمضان...سأروي القصة لكم في الرحلة التراثية ان شاء الله.
Third Incident:
Is a small experience that happened with me personally when I was 10 years old. I went with a school trip to Baalbek organized by al-nour school for girls where my mother (allah yerhamha) was a school vice-principle. As soon as we arrived, I find inside Baalbek a wounded Kestrel Falcon laying on the ground, I pick him up, try to take care of him and feed him, then he decided to stand on my right shoulder and did not leave it all day. Everyone was awed, but they would not let me take it with me to Tripoli on the bus as the girls were scared of it. I was sad to let it go. At the time one of the school teachers told me that it was a Kestrel Falcon, but I never knew that our family had a special relationship with this falcon.

وانا لي حادثة صغيرة عندما كنت في العاشرة من عمري فقد كنت في رحلة سياحية اقامتها مدرسة النور للبنات حيث والدتي كانت ناظرة وتدير الرحلة الى بعلبك وفي بداية الرحلة وداخل الهيكل وجدت صقر عوسق مجروح الجناح يتخبط على الأرض فحملته وحاولت الاعتناء به وأطعمته ثم وقف على كتفي الأيمن ولم يفارقني طوال اليوم وتعجب الجميع ومنهم والدتي... في نهاية النهار حاولت أن أعود به على الباص لأصطحبه معي ولكن البنات في الباص هرعو من الفزع فطلبت مني والدتي ان اتركه في بعلبك وكنت حزيناً جداً لتركه...
