Ramazanogullari Custom Family Ring

I've been working on designing this new family men;s ring for a while now.

I finally settled on a design that tell a story about our family.  I hope you all like it.

On the top is a symbol of the 3 Arrows which belonged to the Ucok tribe.  It sits atop of a cut Royal Blue Crystal to signify Blue Blood noting the leadership position of the family as chiefs of the Ucok Tribes, hence the word "Ucok" under the 3 arrows.

On one side is the Year 1352 (AD) the start of the Ramazanogullari Princedom and ruling dynasty, and on the other side is Year 1608 (AD) signifying the end of the Ramazanoglu Dynasty.

On one side it says "Adana", the Capital of the Princedom and where the family ruled from, and on the other side it shows the head of a Kestrel Falcon, the bird symbol given to our forefathers by Oghuz Khan.

It is custom designed and therefore it is not cheap as it will be available in limited quantities.

Each ring will cost me to produce USD $57.50, such custom rings normally sell for USD $150 to USD $200, so this is its value.  For this price, minimum production quantity is 50 rings.

So I want to conduct a small survey to set the price, and I need your help...

On What Finger It Is Customary to Put a Family Ring?

"The Index or Pointer Finger"

There’s a natural instinct to keep the pointer finger clear, since we use it more than any other digit (except the thumb), but it turns out that a ring on the finger doesn’t interfere with it as much as one on the finger next to it.

If you go back hundreds of years the index finger was the most common location for a man’s ring (generally a signet or a crest — in some parts of Europe, people below a certain rank were actually forbidden from wearing rings, because they denoted specific family status).
That makes the index finger a good place for things like class rings, fraternal rings, or family and membership crests, although many men (especially younger, unmarried men) opt for the ring finger out of habit instead.
Anything that you want to be used frequently and emphatically in your gestures can go on the index finger. It’s not as dramatically isolated as something on the outer digits (thumb and pinky), but its prominence in our basic manual dexterity makes it noticeable.

The astrological association for the pointer finger is Jupiter, which symbolizes power, leadership, and authority. The metal association is tin, which you won’t find many rings made out of, but bright silver tones are a normal choice for the index finger.

How to measure your ring size:

Instructions
Things You'll Need
§  Ruler
§  Thin strip of paper
  1. Cut a thin strip of paper
  2. Wrap the paper around your finger. Make sure the paper is below the joint of your finger and close to your knuckle.
  3. Mark the spot where the paper meets and measure the distance with your ruler.
  4. Use the following chart to determine your ring size. Rings also come in half sizes, the measurements of which, of course, will fall somewhere in between the whole sizes.

Size 4: 1 13/16 inches = 4.6 cm
Size 5: 1 15/16 inches = 4.9 cm
Size 6: 2 1/16 inches = 5.25 cm
Size 7: 2 1/8 inches = 5.4 cm
Size 8: 2 1/4 inches = 5.7 cm
Size 9: 2 5/16 inches = 5.9 cm
Size 10: 2 7/16 inches = 6.2 cm
Size 11: 2 9/16 inches = 6.5 cm
Size 12: 2 5/8 inches = 6.7 cm
Size 13: 2 3/4 inches = 7 cm
Size 14: 2 7/8 inches = 7.3 cm

We hope this is helpful.
